The speedy filly Meryl became the first multiple Stakes winner for her sire Epaulette when she raced to a brilliant win in the G3 Scarborough Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday, 28 September.
Meryl became Epaulette’s first Group winner when she led throughout to take out the G3 BJ McLachlan Stakes in Brisbane as a two-year-old.
Meryl was bred by Nick Hodges of Riversdale Farm and sold through the the Riversdale draft at the 2017 Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
